Okay. Movie recommendation time.

Boy Eats Girl (2005 Ireland)

In the pantheon of comedic zombie movies this one take some pretty high ranking. It's no Braindead, but my god it's up there. Beginning and end are more love story, but it works. And only being an hour and twenty minutes it's time well spent. And hey, Isle Of Mann production... You know it's gonna be different.

Oh yea... If any of you have heard of the stage show Puppetry Of The Penis they released a dvd of the show. Get it, watch it, be amazed at the penis. Yes, full frontal male nudity, and 2 Ausie guys manipulating their penises. Worth every minute.

Hi y'all...

Well I've moved again. Same building different location in it. Saving on rent and alla that. Whee debt paybacks. I was bored today, between moving boxes and shit, so I baked anjel_kitty a birthday cake. It's too bad she couldn't have any being 2,000+ miles away. It was a white cake, 3 layer, filled with chocolate mousse, frosted with a toasted coconut chocolate icing and topped with cherries. Basically a huge pile of nom.

For you Portal fans out there YES I made a Portal cake. :P

I think it turned out okay. Only regret is I was missing a candle for the top, so I put on another cherry. :P Suffer purists.

But yes, Happy 6th Anjel!

In other news... There isn't much. Settling into new place and very much comfy, just gotta keep from getting too comfy. (digital cable can be addictive) :P Thinking once I have all my debts paid of heading back to Vancouver and taking some classes like getting a baking diploma and stuff like that. Also thinking of throwing a few carboys of red ale on to brew soon... Just gotta get the hardware again.

How do your eating/cooking habits change in the winter?

My habits change for the worse. As the weather grows colder and Christmas grows nearer I start baking more. Trying to get the years recipes right for presents and large friend/family dinners. Sweets and pastries, fancy breads, large roast joints of meat. No matter how you try and replace ingredients for healthier alternates the old recipes wind up tasting better.

In the end it's all worth it though. 'Tis the season as they say.
